What is this Workshop about?

On the second day of the conference, NpM will host a workshop designed to inform you about recent joint efforts taken by NpM members on ‘greening’ the Inclusive Finance sector and committing to addressing the subject in policy and practice. After an overview of where NpM members stand, which barriers and opportunities lie ahead and what their common vision and agenda for the future entails, they will give examples from three members on managing internal environmental risk (eg. fair trade carbon compensation as an innovative solution of your carbon reduction strategy); managing external environmental risk (eg. in value chain finance in Africa); and exploring green markets (eg. solar energy solutions for communities and business throughout Africa).
